How do I make green chutney?
Green chutney is a very simple side sauce that takes a few minutes to make providing you have the right ingredients to hand.
Green chutney is served with pakora, kebabs, masala dosa, or makes the perfect Bombay sandwich.
To make a good portion you will need:
- 50 grams of fresh mint
- One green chili, fine chopped
- 5cm piece of grated ginger
- 1 and a half tablespoons of yogurt
- 100g coriander
- Half lemon, juiced
- 30ml Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
Put all of the ingredients in a food chopper and blend until smooth, add salt to taste.
